On our way to Almora, we visited the famous Neem Karoli Baba Ashram at Kainchi Dham. The peaceful energy was rejuvenating. Almora’s charming streets and colonial-era architecture offered a unique cultural experience.
Finding Peace at Kasar Devi
Kasar Devi, known for its ancient temple and breathtaking views of the Himalayas, was a haven for peace and meditation. The tranquil environment allowed us to unwind and reflect.

We traveled from Kasar Devi to Nainital and checked into the vibrant dormitory stay at GoStops. We explored the famous Mall Road and enjoyed a peaceful kayaking on Naini Lake, surrounded by misty hills.

We dedicated the day to exploring Nainital’s gems. From the ancient Naina Devi Temple to the serene Bhimtal Lake, Sukha Taal Lake, Khurpatal, Hanuman Garhi, Naina Lake View Point, and the majestic Himalaya View Point, every moment was captivating. The highlight was my first-ever paragliding experience, soaring over the scenic landscape and capturing breathtaking aerial views.

With hearts full of memories and cameras filled with snapshots, we began our journey to Delhi for the much-anticipated WordCamp event. The scenic drive back was equally picturesque.

We spent the day exploring Delhi’s vibrant markets and indulging in delicious street food. From the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk to the artistic vibe of Hauz Khas Village, a peaceful visit to India Gate, and Friday prayer at the iconic Jama Masjid, every corner had a story to tell.
